He made his move, he stated his reasons, he expected his opponent to act the only logically possible way. It was clearly a checkmate, right? Wrong. Life is not a 2D chessboard, so it gives the players a ton more possibilities even in the most difficult situations.

Nolan saw a naive young woman in front of him. He should have seen a daughter of a veteran Sentinel from his era. He thought she had nothing else to do than to accept his terms, to believe his promise about how he would not hurt her and the baby. He should have taken into account that Hope could choose to believe her mother instead, the one who gave her own life trying to prevent something the intruder was about to do.

You already guessed about the doll and the bomb, my dear readers, and even about Nolan's father being an AI, so I have no surprises for you today. Still, this page is important.
