Page 677 - Lord Nero
February 22, 2021

I really liked Ratatosk's suggestion on page 666, so Lara's Atlantean lord is now named Nero. And he has quite a list of access codes in his possession!
The other team members have master psi-profiles that store procedural, semantic, and experimental episodic memories but not autobiographic memories (the core of human personality), so they don't have individual names, only numbers. See "Types of human memory" for more info.

It's Monday again, so here's another pack of Spiderforest webcomics for you to enjoy while you're waiting for new GWI pages:

Week of February 21-28

Bump in the Night

Many are afraid of the dark, of being alone on that dark and stormy night. The things that hide in the shadows are feared. But are they necessarily deserving of the terror? You be the judge.

Arbalest
Arbalest - Haelu is a monster, born of the snow and the long dark. Her purpose: to bring back the sun. But, as awareness of her complex self begins to emerge, Haelu forges goals of her own. Rated M for partial nudity, blood/gore, sex, themes of abuse.

Numb
Numb - The story starts with Levi and Sue, childhood friends who have since grown apart. They attempt to meet again but right before Levi ends up in an accident that has something else behind it than just careless street crossing. Old strains are brought up and something sinister is lurking around.

More to read

I have other books for you besides GWI. Take a look at them while waiting for a new page :)
I have:
- Tales from the Afterworld, a collection of short stories in different genres (sci-fi, fantasy, magical realism, space opera, fairytale)
- Obsidian Triad, an illustrated fantasy novel about a world created by dreamers. It begins with a young mortal's becoming an apprentice of the creators of his world and tells a long story (the size of LOTR) with a huge cast of different characters. My biggest and my favourite work so far.
- I also have some of my stories translated into Esperanto (an awesome artificial language you can learn in just 10 hours, possibly the official language of BRICS in the future): Donacoj de glacimontoj (Esperanto version of GWI with Russian and English translations under every page so that people can use the comic to easily learn Esperanto) and Glacidonaco (Esperanto version of Ice Gift, the short story that inspired GWI).

My main site is Mildegard.ru, so you can just bookmark it and use it to reach everything I have published so far.
